Education Our future is in the hands of our children. Our schools are not educating them the way they should be. Teachers are paid at poverty level, don't have the tools they need to teach and spend most of their time "controling" the class, not teaching. If America is to remain a strong power, we need to prepare the next generation with solid education. More funding for schools is essential. Seniors Our Seniors have worked hard to build this country. Now they face astronomical bills for prescriptions, taxes, gas, and heat. They are invisible to the younger generation. Their wisdom and contribution should be charished, not through aside. We need affordable housing with services in our area for Seniors. The War We are fighting an illegal war to line the pockets of a few at the expense of the nation today and in the future. We have lost nearly as many lives in the war as were lost in 911. The US should pull out and those who perpetrated the war, arrested. I feel for our young men and women fighting in this unjust war for a country that really betrayed them. |
